I thoroughly enjoy working with the teachers and parents in order to provide the best learning environment for the students. This small, faith-filled community seeks academic excellence, celebrates diversity and takes advantage of the many cultural resources that surround our downtown campus.

Not many people actually get to do what they wanted to do when they grew up, but I did! I love being a school counselor and being at St. Peter’s makes it perfect. Assisting with student learning through the basic guidance areas of learning to live, learning to learn, and learning to work is a privilege. Teaching students in twice-monthly guidance lessons, talking with them individually and seeing them in small groups gives me the opportunity to know each child and to help foster a life-long quest for knowledge. St. Peter’s students, parents, and staff work together as would a large, loving family.

I have been a member of the St. Peter’s School Family since 1996. I thoroughly enjoy working with our talented staff, interacting with our loving families and caring for our wonderful students in this faith filled environment.

I am a retired SC school district administrator and member of St. Peter’s parish. I still perform contract work for the state department of education each week. However, my BEST days are those spent volunteering at St. Peter’s school. My role is to evaluate test scores, assist teachers with curricula resources and provide professional development as needed. St. Peter’s has a great faculty, wonderful support staff and an excellent principal who all work to provide the children with a first-rate education as well as a safe, loving and supportive environment. St. Peter’s is the kind of school I wish all children could experience.
